The collaboration will focus on the art of traditional calligraphy as Shawkat, who focuses on his own unique and poetic form of Arabic script, will showcase the beauty, elegance and craftsmanship found in this deeply historical and Arab artform, through a live personalisation activation for Loro Piana clients, hand-painted onto the classic Extra Pocket L19 Pouch for women.

On Thursday November 12^th and Friday November 13^th, from 12pm to 8pm on both days, Wissam Shawkat will be based at the Loro Piana boutique in the prestigious Dubai Mall, where visitors will be invited to discover the depth and detail of his unique calligraphy and typography skills and avail an Extra Pocket L19 Pouch with their own personalisation. This exclusive event is an honoured recognition of the brands commitment to nurturing excellence in contemporary art and design and supporting the careers of local practitioners.
