During their encounter, the secrets behind the iconic golden red color inspired the creation of this unique fragrance. In a stunning metamorphosis, clear crystal gradually fuses with 24-karat gold powder at 540 degrees Celsius (1,004°F) and turns red: it’s the rouge à l’or (golden red). That is how Baccarat Rouge 540 was born.
First released in a limited-edition series of 250 numbered bottles, the mysterious and addictive sillage of Baccarat Rouge 540 quickly became an obsession.
