Lastly, a collection of iconic Royal Monceau objects can be found at this most elegant Parisian Christmas market. Le Royal Monceau – Raffles Paris will therefore delight the eyes and the taste buds this winter.

CULINARY DELIGHTS: AN UTTERLY ROYAL WEEKEND

DECEMBER IS DEFINITELY DEDICATED TO EXQUISITE DELIGHTS AT LE ROYAL MONCEAU – RAFFLES PARIS, AS EVIDENCED BY THE TWO BRUNCHES OFFERED BY EXECUTIVE CHEF FILIPE DA ASSUNÇAO AT LA CUISINE RESTAURANT.

On Saturdays and Sundays, regulars will be able to feast on a “Festive Brunch”. Beef Wellington, lobster buffet, shellfish platter, foie gras and blueberry crumble, panettone and bredele spritz – to name but a few delicacies – kick off the end-of-year festivities.

The even more spectacular “Festive Royal Brunch” specially prepared on 25th December and 1st January will see the central area of La Cuisine abound with foie gras pies, morel-crusted bass, royal lobster vol-au-vents, venison filet mignon with cranberries, and truffled capon.

THE PERFECT WINTER BEAUTY ROUTINE

THE FIRST WINTER CHILLS CALL FOR REVITALISATION IN THE GENTLE AND CALM AMBIANCE OF MY BLEND BY CLARINS SPA

If there was ever a season conducive to pampering and relaxation, it’s winter. In the milky-white surroundings of Le Royal Monceau Spa, minds are calmed and bodies re- energised. This essential cold- weather protocol begins with a dry steam bath produced by volcanic rocks. Here, the muscles relax, the circulation is stimulated and toxins are removed as the sauna’s anti-stress properties begin to take effect. This is then followed by 1.5 hours of deep relaxation with the Royal Energy treatment. This signature Clarins protocol includes the use of natural, aromatic products, an energising massage, a scrub, and a soothing face mask. A comforting detox herbal tea brings this reviving moment to a fitting end.

AGAPÉ YULE LOG

MELT-IN-THE-MOUTH GINGERBREAD, TANGY CANDIED DRIED FRUITS, LEMON MOUSSELINE CREAM

This unusual creation takes us into the magical world of Christmas markets. The Yule log leads into the working Ferris wheel, made entirely from chocolate, filled with macarons, nougat, chocolate bonbons and caramels.
