The House Schiaparelli revisits its Face Bag, a bag that is all at once elegant, original and fun, entirely made in France.

Minimalist in its rectangular shape with double gusset, the Face Bag surprises with its decorative ornament inspired by the history of the House: it features a trompe-l’oeil face imbued with the surrealist aesthetic of Schiaparelli, composed of an eye inspired by the one drawn by Jean Cocteau for a jewel by Schiaparelli in 1937 on the one hand, a nose and a golden mouth which refers to the collaboration between Dali and Elsa Schiaparelli for the Bouches suit from the Haute-Couture collection of the winter of 1937-1938 on the other hand. These anatomical jewels are made of brass for the nose and mouth, and enamelled brass for the eyes.

As precious as it is desirable, the Face Bag sublimates both the silhouette and everyday life with its subtly eccentric poetry.
