Montblanc launches “On The Move” Collection at Paris Fashion Week

Montblanc hosted the launch of its new One The Move Collection at the iconic Palais Galliera, a museum dedicated to fashion and its history, during Paris Fashion Week. With original performances, dance and music, and a special DJ set by DJ Pee .Wee (Anderson Paak), the event brought to life Montblanc’s bold new vision of mobility encapsulated in its cross-category collection of leather goods, writing instruments, connected technologies and timepieces.

Incorporating advanced techniques in craftsmanship and new technology, the collection reflects Montblanc’s commitment to inspire people to leave their mark by moving with purpose, accompanied by products that deliver on function and style. On The Move articulates a new vision of mobility for today with products that encourage and facilitate movement, ultimately reminding people that the way they choose to move inspires the mark they make on the world.

Guests including Emma Roberts, Dree Hemingway, Stella Maxwell, Dylan Sprouse, Ed Westwick, Jon Kortajarena, Jordan Barrett, Hugo Marchand, Waris Ahulwalis, Rocco Ritchie, and Leandra Cohen joined Montblanc CEO Nicolas Baretzki and Montblanc Artistic Director Marco Tomasetta for a first look at the collection.

The evening opened with an artistic interpretation of the theme of Montblanc mobility, combining writing and movement. Through the power of writing, a writer steered a group of street style performers with every one of his written words. When he stopped writing, so did the movement. It was followed by an immersive performance by an orchestra and electro band with performing dancers supported by projections and a light show, accentuating the performance and the movement. Guests danced into the evening to the dynamic sets of Grammy winning, American rapper, singer, songwriter, Anderson .Paak performing as DJ Pee .Wee and French DJ Ines Melia.
