Montblanc 1858 Zero Oxygen: The 8000 Capsule Collection

New collection puts spotlight on world’s 14 highest peaks (all 8,000m+). All challenging + dangerous as limited oxygen endangers climbers. Mark Maker Reinhold Messner became first to climb all 14 peaks without supplemental oxygen (between 1970-1986). Mark Maker Nimsdai Purja became fastest person to climb all 14 peaks in 2019. Four new models join Montblanc’s “Zero Oxygen” collection, all featuring several benefits for explorers who need equipment to work in harsh environments. All models assembled in 0% oxygen environment.

1858 Iced Sea Collection (Grey Dial + Boutique Edition): Following success of the sports diving watch launched in 2022 with its frozen dials, a new colour joins collection – in elegant shade of grey, inspired by the ice of one of the Mont-Blanc mountain’s largest glaciers – the Mer de Glace. Translation of natural beauty of ice on the dial uses an almost-forgotten ancestral technique call gratté boisé as the base. Also adding to collection is a new Boutique Edition with a green glacier dial that gives the impression of looking into the depths of glacial ice. All timepieces powered by automatic movements and indicate the hours, minutes, seconds, and a date at three o’clock. Two different dial colours – grey and black. Stainless bracelet which can be quickly + easily switched for a rubber strap without use of any tools, adjustable on the wrist, so each owner can find the perfect fit when wearing it over a wetsuit. Durable for salt water. Undergone Montblanc Laboratory 500 Hour test – shock, magnetic, temperature, water-resistant (30 bar) + fasteners reinforced for maximum security. For the very first time, Montblanc introduces a limited-edition box set with three 1858 Iced Sea Automatic Date editions in a curated chest – includes two timepieces from last year – the green and blue editions – and the latest novelty from this year in glacier grey.

Montblanc Unveiled Secret Minerva Monopusher Chronograph LE 88: Iconic hand-wound MB 16.29 movement with all its meticulous hand-finishing, with movement flipped over to display all the incredible mechanical action on the dial side of the watch, one of the first times in Minerva’s 165-year history. Appears as a skeletonized movement, but a closer look reveals that this historic chronograph movement is on full display on the dial side of the watch. Limited edition of 88 (stainless steel) pieces, 43mm case, fluted bezel inspired from 1927 Minerva design.

The Unveiled Timekeeper Minerva LE 100 and LE 28: limited edition timepieces which reimagines the chronograph function by using a bezel-activated system. To mark the 165th anniversary of the founding of the Minerva Manufacture and the 100th anniversary of its first wristwatch chronograph movement, Montblanc has added this intriguing chronograph function to the Calibre 13.21, which was reworked in 2003. The timepiece is operated through the unidirectional rotating bezel, allowing it to time 10 separate events in one complete turn. Montblanc has filed several patent applications for this feature, and the watch comes in two limited editions with 100 pieces in stainless steel and 28 pieces in 18K lime gold. Both are equipped with Montblanc Manufacture Calibre MB M13.21, a hand-finished manually wound movement with a monopusher chronograph with column wheel and horizontal coupling. They also feature a blue or dark green dial with luminescent Arabic numerals and indexes, a tachymeter and telemeter scales, and interchangeable alligator leather straps.
