As we finally left the summer heat behind, and UAE residents are spending their days outdoors, GIA opened their revamped garden terrace and launched an Aperitivo menu. Guests can finally enjoy the outdoor cooler breeze on the cozy and green terrace with magnificent views of the Dubai Fountains.

GIA is embracing the century-old tradition that is the classic Italian Aperitivo. With pure Italian flair, the A-list team of GIA have come together to create an Aperitivo menu featuring curated mocktails and indulging platters to share. Celebrating La Dolce Vita, the terrace is the perfect environment to enjoy a post-work Aperitivo in true Italian fashion. As the sun sets order one of the signature mocktails from the Mojito Alla Mora to the Lavanda Frizzante.

GIA offers authentic Italian food in a sophisticated setting and the Aperitivo is no exception. The Al Fresco Aperitivo features a sharing style concept at the Italian way of life. Guests can opt for The GIA Platter and 2 drinks at AED 150 per couple or the Oceana Platter and 2 drinks for AED 210 per couple.

The GIA Platter is served with freshly baked focaccia and homemade red pesto, a polpette arrabiata that’s slowly cooked with a tomato sauce, crunchy mushroom arancini and grilled halloumi bruschetta with marinated basil tomato. Seafood lovers can opt for the Oceana Platter which includes mussels in mushroom sauce, sautéed prawns, crispy fried calamari with squid ink and marinara sauce, charred grill baby octopus with grilled potato and mild spicy sour sauce and a smoked salmon bruschetta with citrus mascarpone cheese and capers.

The drinks menu was designed by the in-house mixologists and offers an electic curation of mocktails including mojitos that blend signature flavours with a sensory experience.

Served with blackberries, freshly squeezed lime juice, mint, basil and soda, the Mojito Alla Mora is prepared to perfection. The Mojito Alla Fragola is a sublime drink boasting a variety of ingredients such as fresh strawberries, lime juice, soda, wild mint and strawberry syrup. The Mojito Di Sorrento includes mint, lime juice, sugar and wild mint syrup. With lavender & butterfly pea extract, lime juice and soda, the Lavanda Frizzante will transport you to Italy from your first sip. The Malena is a signature drink that embodies the concept of good living – La Dolce Vita. With a concoction of chamomile spice, iced tea, peach & lemon extract and smoked cinnamon, the Malena creates an extraordinary experience.
