Homegrown Emirati restaurant Karak House launches new refreshing menu

Karak House has been a popular spot for foodies in the UAE since the opening in 2014. Now there’s more reason to be excited as the homegrown Emirati restaurant in Downtown Dubai has undergone an extensive menu revamp with refreshing and nostalgic Emirati dishes with a modern flair. Rich flavours of the region are featured in everything from the breakfast dishes and main courses to the delightful desserts and beverages representing the local heritage.

The team created a number of new, delicious additions to the much-loved a la carte menu featuring classic and reimagined Emirati favourites. The extensive breakfast menu includes items such as the Egg & Keema Bao, Baith wa Tamat and Asida Waffle. The lunch menu features dishes like the flavorsome and fulfilling Detox Salad, Chicken Mandi, Lamb Biryani and Grilled Prawns with creamy lemon sauce.

Looking for a late afternoon snack? Head over to the Boulevard for some karak and paratha filled with keema, beef brisket, egg, cheese or nutella with the relaxed ambiance and interiors of the space.

Rejuvenate your energy as you enjoy Emirati hospitality and great food! Choosing your favorite dishes from the evening menu won’t be easy with options including Grilled Lamb Chops and wedges with spicy tomato sauce & mint chutney on the side. The Lamb Harees features wheat & lamb freshly blended served with ghee. The Creamy Chicken Curry includes boneless chicken in a tasty creamy curry sauce and is served with hot parathas.

Your meal is not complete without desserts. Karak House created amazing new desserts to satisfy your sweet tooth cravings. The Pistachio Cookie Fondant features a homemade cookie fondant filled with creamy pistachio ganache, topped with pistachio ice cream and cookie crumble will keep you coming back for more! The Lotus Pudding is a beautiful marriage of a creamy cheesecake with lotus ganache & crunchy lotus crumble. Like breakfast for dessert? Don’t forget to binge on their Choco-berry French Toast made up of crispy golden brioche bread, mixed berries, nutella, cornflakes and chocolate sauce. You can’t go wrong with the extensive selection of desserts.

The drinks menu also includes traditional local touches, with beverages including Karak Chai as well as and refreshing juices.

Guests can choose between a cozy and ambient indoor dining experience or opt to dine on the terrace which boasts glimmering views of the twinkling Burj Khalifa. Bringing a new light to Emirati childhood favourites, Karak House is a unique take on the Emirati culture and will continue to maintain the impeccably high standards of local gastronomy that has made it such a hit for more than five years.
