Embark on an ultra-luxury family getaway to One&Only Desaru Coast, just a 90-minute ferry service from Singapore, where a breathtaking collection of expansive suites await guests to treat as their home away from home. Guests can look forward to embracing the festive spirit with Chinese cultural traditions such as ceremonial lion dance performances, firecracker lighting, and a visit from the prosperity buddha (Dai Tou Fat) himself. Among many other fun-filled family activities, guests are invited to unleash their creative side with an interactive calligraphy workshop guided by a skilled master demonstrating the ancient Chinese art of spring festival couplets and pen down poetic good wishes for the year ahead.

Synonymous with the Lunar New Year, the iconic glutinous dessert, tang yuan, is a quintessential treat and a favourite among many Singaporeans. One&Only Desaru Coast’s very own Ambara restaurant will be hosting a class teaching guests how to recreate their very own rendition and the recipe for this delicious treat. Specially curated for the little ones, the Kids Only club will offer daily activities for children, such as long-observed traditions of paper craft classes, a prosperity treasure hunt, and a petting zoo where kids can get up close with baby bunnies during their festive getaway.

Food and beverage aficionados can head over to savour the Flavours of Spring Reunion Dinner on the eve of the Lunar New Year, boasting a selection of thoughtfully curated auspicious dishes to signify great prosperity. Look forward to an abundance of festive dishes, from Toro Fish Yee Sang with avocado, crispy fish skin and wasabi dressing, Double Boiled Fish Maw Soup with matsutake mushrooms and 10 Head Abalone, and Braised Money Bags with dried oyster and wok-fried garden greens. Held at Ambara Restaurant, the dinner set menu is priced at RM380+ per adult and RM 108+ per child, inclusive of Yusheng (prosperity toss) and live entertainment.
