DUBAI WATCH WEEK REVEALS UPCOMING PANELS AND KEYNOTE SPEAKERS PARTICIPATING AT THE 4TH EDITION

Under the patronage of Her Highness Sheikha Latifa bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairperson of Dubai Culture & Arts Authority, Dubai Watch Week, the global platform dedicated to the preservation of watchmaking culture and heritage, is pleased to announce its roster of renowned speakers and panel topics for the 4th edition.

This year, the Horology Forum will focus on bridging creative communities and as such, will bring together over 40 industry giants from varying professions. Speakers will range from watch curators, pioneers, brands, artists and collectors to foster the exchange of their insights and perspective over a series of panel discussions dedicated to the transfiguration of horology under the theme ‘Innovation and Technology’.

Among the speakers are renowned personalities, including non-Executive President of the LVMH’s Watch Division, Jean-Claude Biver; Actor/ Horologist/ Watch Designer, Aldis Hodge; and Danny Govberg, Co-founder and CEO of WatchBox. These speakers will also be joined by the Global Managing Director of Christie’s, Aline Sylla-Walbaum; acclaimed Chef and Restaurateur, Izu Ani and legendary watchmaker, Philippe Dufour.

With some of the world’s most illustrious names participating and sharing their thoughts on the watch industry’s most debated and trending topics, such as what it entails to become a master at your craft, understanding the luxury market’s ecosystem, to the process of creative control between brands, retailers and distributors to self-aware consumers who have access to a the wealth of information and how brands adapt to this, this year’s Horology Forum is set to be one of the most exciting yet.

Open panel discussions will take place during the Horology Forum and will be moderated by internationally renowned editors and watch experts in order to generate provocative discussions.
