Taverna Greek Kitchen, the latest concept from Food Fund International (FFI) at Souk Madinat Jumeirah is launching a monthly YIA MAS! night, starting on Thursday, 25th July. Meaning ‘cheers’ in Greek, the new theme night introduces a Greek live band who will add a festive mood to the much-loved homegrown outlet.

The band composed of four members, including Nikos Kartsonakis, a participant in The Voice – Greece edition, will play traditional Greek music on authentic Greek instruments to entertain guests, giving them a feel of the Greek nightlife where guests can dance to the music while throwing Paneri flowers which is part of the amazing Greek culture.

Taverna’s authentic Mediterranean-inspired cuisine alongside its stunning waterside location are a fitting welcome to the weekend. The interiors offer a rustic yet elegant feel, with stone, wood and marble finishing that showcases the best elements of the Greek islands.
