Disclosure of the JMC Aljabr Team participating in Rally Jameel Off-Road Navigation Rally for women
Aljabr Trading Company, the dealers of JMC vehicles in the Kingdom, unveiled its new women’s car racing team (JMC Aljabr Team). The team will make its debut in the 2024 first Women’s Only Navigation Rally in the first week of March. The team, consisting of Saudi racer Raham Al-Shaaban and French co-driver Marion, will compete in a JMC Grand Avenue vehicle. The team’s identity has been revealed during a press conference held at JMC showroom in Riyadh, in the presence of officials from Aljabr Trading Company, JMC Company, and representatives from sponsoring companies such as Al-Jomaih and Shell (the official oil sponsor of the team) as well as Aljabr Finance Corporation and Aljabr Rent a Car (the platinum sponsor), Al-Murbba Net and the Chinese Cars Me (the media sponsor).
On this occasion, Mr. Wail Baghdadi, COO of Aljabr Trading Company, said: “Today we celebrate the launch of our own Women’s Rally team aboard the JMC Grand Avenue. We have great confidence in the team members and the vehicle to achieve the results we aspire to.” He continued, saying: “Our ambition is great with the establishment of this team, which combines the desire and ambition of racer Raham Al-Shaaban, who is making her first professional participation, and the extensive experience of the French co-driver Marion, who has achieved many global accomplishments, participated in various ralleys, as well as the performance power of the JMC Grand Avenue vehicle. Of course, we aspire to achieve the first place, but at the same time, we know that there is a great and continuous work ahead of us to progress in building and developing the team to achieve the best results. Therefore, we preferred to start our project with a new racer like Captain Raham Al-Shaaban to be part of this project and contribute to its development.”
