A quick girl’s trip to Rome with her sister led to the discovery of Mona’s lifelong obsession with pistachio gelato and it’s now her ultimate guilty pleasure. For the 12th juice in the KAYALI collection, Mona enlisted the “father of gourmands”, Olivier Cresp – and his son, Sebastien – to ensure Yum Pistachio Gelato | 33 embodied the vibe, texture, and mouthwatering yumminess of her favorite dessert.

“For this creation we wanted the pistachio as close as possible to the edible version, a charismatic addiction with a strong gourmand and sensual signature,“ says Cresp, who is a master perfumer at Firmenich.
“To me, the idea of a fragrance that puts the spotlight on pistachio is really unique. Mona wanted a perfume that pushed more and more gourmand as the different modifications went on. We shaped the note together to achieve the result she wanted, an ultra-gourmand creation that makes your mouth water,” adds Sebastien.

Yum Pistachio Gelato | 33 went through at least 33 modifications until Mona felt she found the perfect balance. This fragrance is all about textures and opens with mouthwatering facets of crunchy, roasted hazelnut and pistachio blended with sweet rum for a tantalizing first impression. In the heart, beautiful white peony creates a rosy, honey-like effect while muguet helps maintain the luxurious balance of sweetness, freshness and sophistication. As the dry down continues, enjoy a delicious overdose of whipped cream, fluffy marshmallow and creamy sandalwood for an insanely delectable gourmand fragrance.
“Working on the development of this juice with Olivier Cresp and his son, Sebastien, was SO exciting and a dream come true. I can’t wait to share this juice with the world! With every delicious spritz, you’ll feel like YOU ARE the dessert!” says Kattan.
